Audioris is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We collect only the data you voluntarily provide to us through our contact form. This data includes:

Your name and first name
Your email address
Your message or request
Your phone number
Your profession or discipline
The address and city of your practice (demo request form)
Your INAMI/RIZIV number, if you choose to provide it (optional field)

In the Audioris application (Electron):

All data generated or processed by the application (transcripts, reports, audio recordings, notes) remain stored locally on your computer. No data is collected, transmitted or stored by Audioris.

Processing purposes

Data collected through the contact form is used exclusively for:

Responding to your requests or questions
Keeping you informed of Audioris updates (if you accept)
Improving our services and user experience

Legal basis for processing

The processing of your data is based on:

Your explicit consent (for contact forms)
Performance of a contract or pre-contractual request (if applicable)

Cookies and tracking

No tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.

The audioris.eu website sets no third-party cookies, integrates no audience analytics tool (Google Analytics, Hotjar or equivalent), no advertising pixel and no social network tracker. We build no browsing profile. However, loading fonts from Google Fonts and hosting at Netlify inherently involve transmitting your IP address to those providers — see the section « Website hosting and third-party resources » below.

Website hosting and third-party resources

Two distinct layers: the audioris.eu website is hosted and relies on third-party resources. The Audioris application, by contrast, transmits no data outside your machine.

The audioris.eu website

It is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, United States). Visiting the site therefore involves a connection to a provider established outside the European Union, which processes your IP address and your browser's technical metadata.
The contact and demo request forms are handled by Netlify Forms. The information you enter (last name, first name, email address, phone, profession, practice address, city, INAMI number where applicable, message) transits through and is stored at Netlify, in the United States.
Pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). This request transmits your IP address to Google LLC, in the United States. We plan to self-host this font in order to remove that dependency.

The Audioris application

It carries none of these dependencies. Transcription, analysis and storage run entirely on your machine. No patient data, no recording, no report and no usage data leaves your computer — not to Audioris, not to Netlify, not to Google, not to anyone. This separation between the website and the application is the point to remember.

Data storage and security

Website data:

Contact information is stored securely and is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

Application data:

The Audioris application stores all data exclusively locally, on your computer. Audioris has no access to this data.

Storage duration

Data collected via the contact form is kept for 24 months from the last interaction, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise. After that period it is deleted.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

Data sharing

Audioris does not share your personal data with any commercial or advertising third parties. We never sell your data. The only permitted shares are:

In compliance with applicable laws and regulations
To protect the rights and security of Audioris and its users
With technical service providers if absolutely necessary (hosting, etc.) and under confidentiality agreement

International transfers

The two layers must be distinguished. Application data is subject to no transfer at all, international or otherwise: it never leaves your machine. Website data, however, is indeed transferred outside the European Union: hosting and forms go through Netlify, Inc. and font loading through Google LLC, both established in the United States. These transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which both providers have self-certified. We are working to reduce these dependencies.
