The Audioris Psy product

Is Audioris really 100% offline?
Yes. Speech recognition (Vosk) and AI processing (Mistral via Ollama) run entirely on your computer. No data goes through the internet. You can even disconnect from the network during use — Audioris keeps working normally.
What are the minimum system requirements?
Windows 10/11 or macOS 12+ with at least 8 GB RAM and 10 GB available disk space. A recent processor (Intel i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 / Apple Silicon M1 or equivalent) is recommended for a smooth experience.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. All data is stored locally in an encrypted SQLite database on your computer. No data is sent outside, neither to Audioris nor to any third party. You retain total control and full sovereignty over your recordings.
Which professions is Audioris Psy designed for?
Audioris Psy is designed for any professional whose practice relies on attentive listening and structured report-writing: neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, doctors, speech therapists, occupational therapists. Other versions of Audioris are in development for additional demanding sectors.

The Audioris listening device

Is the Audioris listening device included in the offer?
Yes. The Audioris listening device is part of the initial setup fee. Audioris is designed as a complete software + hardware solution, and the device is the only audio peripheral recognized by the application — ensuring quality, security, and consistency of experience.
What are the advantages of the Audioris listening device?
The device has been designed and calibrated specifically for Audioris: 360° pickup covering both clinician and patient, active suppression of ambient noise (keyboard, ventilation, echoes), significantly improved speaker diarization through the directional mic-array, and hardware traceability guaranteeing the legal reliability of every recording. No consumer microphone offers this combination.
What does the initial setup fee include?
The Audioris listening device, software installation on your computer, customization for your practice (headers, profiles, anamnesis templates), initial voice enrollment of the practitioner, and a guided training session. You're operational in about 1 hour.

Pricing & commitment

How much does Audioris cost?
Audioris works in two phases: an initial setup fee covering the listening device and installation, then a monthly subscription covering software use, updates, technical support during business hours, 24/7 monitoring, and free hardware replacement for the entire duration of your subscription. Detailed pricing on request to contact@audioris.eu.
Is the beta phase really free?
Yes, access is entirely free during the beta period, with no commitment. We notify you well in advance before any move to a paid plan, and you remain free to continue or not.
What happens at the end of my subscription?
The Audioris listening device remains yours (you paid for it in the setup fee). The application switches to read-only mode: you keep accessing all your historical case files, but recording and generating new reports requires a renewed subscription.

Privacy & compliance

Is Audioris GDPR-compliant for the medical sector?
Yes, and structurally so — not just on paper. Audioris does not collect, process or transmit any patient data to external servers. Transcription, AI analysis and storage are entirely on your machine, in an encrypted database. This architecture makes GDPR compliance intrinsic to the product, not an add-on.
Do my patients need to consent to being recorded?
Yes, in accordance with the deontological rules applicable to your profession. Audioris includes an informed consent module allowing the patient to digitally sign their agreement at the start of the consultation, with the required legal mentions. The consent is archived with the case file.
How does Audioris protect me against ransomware and cyberattacks?
Cybersecurity is not a module bolted on afterwards: it is built into the very architecture of Audioris. Closed and offline architecture — no network attack surface, hence no entry point for ransomware coming from the internet. Encrypted database — your case files are unreadable without the local key, even if the machine is physically stolen. Encrypted incremental backups — restoration in minutes in case of an incident. Signed and verified updates — impossible to inject a malicious binary through a fake update. And in case of hardware failure, our 72-hour replacement commitment in Belgium guarantees the continuity of your activity. Our principle is simple: failure is not an option.

Clinical use

What is the role of the electronic ID card (eID) reading at the start of a session?
The eID plays two roles: (1) security and traceability — it reliably authenticates the patient sitting in front of you, ensuring the file you open matches the right person; (2) instant pre-fill — surname, first name, date of birth, gender, address and national number are injected directly into the report header. No more manual entry, no more transcription errors, no more duplicate files. Reading takes less than 3 seconds and everything works fully locally.
What if the ID card doesn't work or the patient doesn't have it?
The eID is a convenience, never a requirement. If the patient forgot it, the card is faulty, the patient is a minor, or has a foreign profile without a Belgian eID, Audioris falls back to classic manual entry: a structured form with the same fields (surname, first name, date of birth, etc.) that you fill in within seconds. The case file is created in exactly the same way, and the patient can perfectly well bring their card to the next session to complete the record. No session is ever blocked by an eID issue.
How does Audioris identify who is speaking (diarization)?
Audioris combines several techniques: prior voice enrollment of the practitioner (their voice is learned during setup), spatial analysis from the Audioris listening device (the 360° mic-array identifies the direction of sound), and spectral fingerprinting in software. This hardware + software combination achieves a reliability significantly higher than software-only solutions. Any uncertain segment is flagged for human validation before signing the report.
Can I edit the generated report before signing?
Yes — and it's actually a mandatory step of the Audioris workflow. Our solution produces a structured draft that you review, correct and validate. You sign what you have approved, never what the machine wrote. All edits are tracked for auditability.

Installation & support

How long does installation take?
Approximately 1 hour for the complete setup: software installation, listening device pairing, practice configuration, voice enrollment and training session. You leave operational.
What if my Audioris device has an issue?
Audioris hardware is guaranteed for the entire duration of your subscription — including beyond the 2-year legal warranty period. In case of failure, we commit to replacement within 72 hours anywhere in Belgium, by direct delivery handled by us. Our goal: zero interruption to your clinical activity.
Can I test Audioris before committing?
Yes. Any interested practitioner can request a free personalized demo (30 min via video call) and a 14-day pilot trial in their practice, with a loaned listening device. No commitment at the end of the trial. Request a demo.
